What Do YOU Love About Fall?

Well, here we are in mid-September, and there’s only one more week of Summer left!

I looooove Summer time, but I do love the early days of Fall, too. The sunlight hits at a lower angle, bathing everything in a warmer glow. And who doesn’t love September and October, when the days are still warm but the nights are crisp? Perfect for hoodies, football games, firepits, and s’mores!

Many people decorate for fall and burn pumpkin spice flavored candles and use plug-ins to make their homes smell and feel cozy. But instead of using fall-scented candles, I use essential oils in my diffusers! I get the amazing scents of Fall with no synthetic junk, and all the benefits of the oils, too!

Candles are full of super harmful chemicals that have been linked to lots of health offenses, ranging from headaches, dizziness, and allergy symptoms to asthma attacks, respiratory tract infections, and even cancers! The synthetic fragrance that makes you love your candles so much is the problem.

I set my diffuser on candle-flicker mode for ambiance and add in some drops of my essential oils to create a delicious fall scent. Within minutes my home is filled with the warm scents of Fall, but without all of the harmful chemicals!!!

I get clean smells, they are less expensive, and I don't have to worry about having an open flame in my house emitting soot, and I definitely don't have to worry about Mazzie catching herself, or the house, on fire.

While the combinations are endless, here are a few of my favorite fall diffuser recipes:

Autumn Spice

2 drops Cinnamon Bark

4 drops Orange

2 drops Nutmeg

Pumpkin Pie

3 drops Cinnamon Bark

2 drops Orange

3 drops Clove

2 drops Cardamom

Baking Cookies

2 drops Nutmeg

2 drops Cinnamon Bark

1 drops Orange

3 drops Vanilla

Raking Leaves

4 drops Patchouli

1 drops Orange

1 drops Ginger

2 drops Idaho Grand Fir
